ENDYMED Intensif is the ultimate collagen rebuilding and remodelling treatment. It uses unique smooth-glide microneedles to effectively create controlled therapeutic heat within the deepest layers of your skin. The ENDYMED handpiece is moved across your skin in a regular pattern, delivering precise and intense pulses of radiofrequency using gold plated microneedles. You may experience mild discomfort during your ENDYMED Intensif treatment, but it shouldn’t be painful. Your clinician will apply local anaesthetic to the affected area prior to treatment, which will help you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout. The gold plated microneedles used are extremely thin to ensure minimal discomfort. Once your treatment is complete, your clinician will apply a soothing gel to aid your recovery.
You will see visible improvements in your skin after your first ENDYMED Intensif treatment, and further improvements will follow. The optimum results will be seen three months after you have completed your course of treatment, as your skin will have developed and new collagen will have been produced.
With ENDYMED Intensif, we recommend three treatments with a minimum of four weeks between each. At Skin Southwest, we typically book our patients one treatment per month for three months. We also always book a three month review so we can compare the before and after photos and gauge whether further treatments are needed.
Your results from ENDYMED Intensif treatment will vary depending on your individual skin and how many treatments you have had. In order to maintain your improved and enhanced skin, we recommend you have one Intensif treatment every 12 months.
After ENDYMED Intensif treatment, your skin may be red and feel prickly, like you have minor sunburn. This can last up to two days. You may also develop micro-crusting (thin, flaky and discoloured scabs) as your skin cells renew, which lasts 3-5 days. During your recovery period, you must apply SPF 50 sun cream to protect the new developing skin from harsh UV light.
