Daily Prevention Nourishing Lip Balm

Having been in the aesthetics industry for almost 2 decades, I have seen products and brands come and go and there are some that I love and some that have passed me by.

One brand not to love is IMAGE Skincare, with their innovate and clinical results driven skin products, I can hand on heart say that I have loved each product, but I want right now to focus on their lip products!

They have had a couple, ORMEDIC Lip Enhancement Complex and the MD Restoring Lip Enhancer.

I have loved each of these products over the years and especially the MD Lip product due to its SPF15 factor but that product was tragically discontinued.

So, I waited with bated breath to see what IMAGE would pull out of the bag! And boy, did it deliver!

It created a sublime, neat and cutely packaged nourishing lip balm!

Be aware though as this is no ordinary lip balm, no siree!! This is a nourishing lip treatment! A lip balm by all accounts does not add much to the lip apart from making them feel soft but from where I am thinking, there are no real clinical benefits. Well for me being a dentist, the standout here is the SPF30, yes, you have read that correctly, SPF30 not SPF15 which is what one tends to see and was also in the MD lip product.

UVA rays are also aging for the skin and the delicate skin of the lips so for me SPF30 is a real winner and skin saver too!

Driven by Exosome technology, this product contains UVA, UVB and UVC filters as well marine filling spheres to keep those lips hydrated.

Vitamin E, ginger root and chamomile ingredients soothe the lips and reduce visible redness, and the extra magic ingredient is a stable form of Vitamin C which is proven to brighten and fight visible signs of lip aging.

The addition of micro-algae is a game changing ingredient that contains a naturally rich source of astaxanthin, a carotenoid which is an extremely powerful antioxidant.
